The ministry of the Brussels Capital Region grants subsidies to SMEs dealing with social promotion and/or economic expansion. An endowment of 50% may be obtained for language training.

All private sector workers are entitled to paid study leave and may take recognized courses during working hours with no loss of remuneration. The employer may not refuse this but should sign his/her agreement on the ‘holiday taken’ form and claim this back after the course by introducing a debt reimbursement claim.

The ‘Chèques-Formation’ allows companies to receive financial subsidies for continous training of workers. Each ‘chèque’ covers one hour of training per worker, costs 15 € and is worth 30 €.
The number of cheques available varies according to the size of your company.
